I live in an NYC apartment and purchased this bike to replace a mountain bike with street tires. The bike arrived fully assembled and very well packed. It was in pristine condition and I was able to ride it after unpacking and reading the instructions. The shifters were properly indexed and the bike rode, shifted and braked perfectly.

While this bike (like all bikes) is a compromise, it has exceeded my expectations. The bike defies easy categorization. We have not had a chance to travel yet with our bikes but they came quite promptly, were easy to assemble, nice ride, look like "real" bikes instead of the usual clown-like folding bikes. We're looking forward to bringing them sailing and flying this summer. I only wish they had the female style since it's hard to get my leg over sometimes. Highly recommend Montague!
