Truly does what it says - this is a serious marine adhesive that will most certainly keep things stuck together.
I have used this as part of permanent solutions for remodelling the inside of boats, and am absolutely certain this fittings will outlast the boat they are attached to. Not to be used for winches, blocks or other deck hardware that might be removed in the future because you won't get them up without damaging the deck...
Caveat, degrades over time in direct sunlight (some UV sensitivity). Which is fortunate, as I needed to pull a boom off a gooseneck that had been sealed with 3M 5200: without that degradation (a decade in the sun), would not have been able to do so.
