I hoped this game would be a fun way to take new routines with me when I travel, to keep me on track and mix things up. Unfortunately, I found Let's Pilates to be difficult to follow and extremely annoying.Pilates requires you to lay on the floor and use both hands for most of the exercises, yet the game offers very little audio guidance and requires you to be able to SEE the screen - nearly impossible when lying on your back. I do not like going to gyms or running- especially in winter, and I can never figure out my DVD. When I am in certain positions I cannot see the TV screen anyway. But with the DS I can move it with me, wear earphones, etc. And it travels well!I really like to see and hear clues for proper form and reminders to breathe properly. I can really feel the effect. I do wish there were progressive/ increasing reps (difficulty), and I wish there was less time between each exercise so I feel like I am getting more movement time in. |
