Garmin Fishfinder 140 with 4.7-Inch Display and Dual-Beam Transducer Reviews

The screen is very easy to read, and the automatic features actually work without being fine tuned. Far and away the nicest feature about this unit is the dual beam transducer. It has great accuracy not only under the boat, but off to the sides. Lastly the option of mounting the transducer to the trolling motor without having to buy an adapter was icing on the cake. 25 of 25 people found the following review helpful By techie856 (New Jersey) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Garmin Fishfinder 140 with 4.7-Inch Display and Dual-Beam Transducer (Electronics) This is by far the best fishfinder in the price range. This is a VERY durable product, I love the low energy comsumption. I found it pretty straight forward to use and don't need to carry the manual around. The resolution is good, screen is viewable in daylight and the readings seem accurate. It has already made a diffrence in our fishing. 23 of 23 people found the following review helpful By This review is from: Garmin Fishfinder 140 with 4.7-Inch Display and Dual-Beam Transducer (Electronics) I purchased this unit as a secondary dephfinder on my fishing boat. I was curious to see how it would compare to my other dephfinder that cost twice as much (not a Garmin). The Garmin works just as well, and in some cases better than the other brand that cost more. I am very satisfied with this unit especially considering the price. This one even tells me the depth when I'm motoring full speed across the water (20 mph). The more expensive one on my boat does not tell me depth at full speed. This is a great unit for the money. |
