We bought this coat for her because she is allergic to down. The fit is great and flattering! She loves it, it isn't bulky and doesn't get in the way incredibly light also. It packs down great for throwing in your bag and insulates very well. The warmth is incredible and though the white has gathered a few stains, she loves it. She has even slept in it a few times without problems and has yet to get snagged. Though I would recommend only wearing this as an underlayer while in the outdoors for around town it will perform perfectly. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Patagonia Nano Puff Insulated Jacket - Woman's (Apparel) I just bought the Nano Puff in Fog--love the color, love the weight, hate the cuffs. Have only worn it 4 times and the stretch trim on the cuffs is already snagging and fuzzy. It's way too delicate for the job. Bummer, especially at Patagonia prices. Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Patagonia Nano Puff Insulated Jacket - Woman's (Apparel) This is a great jacket for warmer winter days and for when you don't want a heavy jacket weighing you down. When the temp is above 32 degrees or for shopping it is perfect. If we were to get some snow this winter it would be perfect for layering for cross country skiing or snowshoeing. The color (turquoise) is vibrant and fun- a good alternative to my basic black. The feel is silky, well constructed, and true to size- a great fit. It is not too puffy. I almost gave it 4 stars because the edges of the sleeves appear that they may be the first part of the jacket to show wear as they are elastic encased in a piece of fabric. This is also a good feature too though because in some of my other jackets my hands are annoyingly covered by too long sleeves. In this jacket the sleeves stay perfectly at my wrists and out of the way. I am very happy with this jacket and can see myself wearing it for many years. |
